Today we announce a unique challenge to commemorate the 84th anniversary of George Orwell's birth.
ABOUT THE CHALLENGE
As many have noticed, the game is very controversial, but "Human Farm" is not just about entertainment. You'll find in the game a lot of elements of Orwell's work, books, and great films.
Here we want to focus on the movies. Elements of each of the films will be included in the final version of the game. Knowing all the titles from the selected films, the player should have enough info to guess the main purpose and message of the game.
PURPOSE
We want to make players find out what Human Farm is all about by themselves. The game is for gamers. We don't want to spoil it for them the best things. On the other hand, we want to reward those who are clever enough and find out the purpose of the game before the release and give pleasure in participating in a new form of devlogs.
Don't be melodramatic about the game. It's mostly a thriller/s-f so people who feel offended - shouldn't be.
RULES
- The Challenge starts today and will last a year (this entry contains several elements that may suggest the correct answer).
- Every 2 weeks there will be a devlog, in which elements of some movie will be hidden.
- The name of the movie will be associated with one of 6 feelings.
- To each feeling, 3 movies are assigned.
- Players have to guess which feeling we are talking about and what movie is being talked about.
- There should be around 3 to 5 elements in each devlog that is related to a film.
- This could be a general description/sound, graphics, gif, mem, quote.
- All movies are very recognizable and highly appreciated by film critics
SCORING SYSTEM
We will evaluate speed, correct answer, being close to the answer, and selection of the elements that you think clearly suggest this and not another movie. The scoring system will be our secret (it's quite complex). But once a month the table of participants and their scores will be updated. The whole thing is to work similarly to the so-called cosgnI psychological tests.

PRIZES/REWARDS
Prizes will be revealed over time. For now, I can write about:
a) Being on the "pig" list, which will be pinned on Steam, and at the end of the Challenge will be published on all social media and the Gaming Factory website and with a lot of interest, maybe also in the bigger media.
b) Each participant with a certain number of points (taking part in at least 6 devlogs) will be qualified for a special nickname.
Depending on the number of points, the player will receive a nickname:
- Dictator
- Visionary
- Socialist
- Maniac
- Butcher
- Altruist
c) For those with the highest number of points in each of the above-mentioned categories there will be prizes:
- a special role on the company's discord
- co-designing an element in the game
- a graphic created together with the game developers
- nickname or name of the player in the game
- special entry and graphics threw in with special thanks from devs on social media
- quote invented together with the game developers
- a special discount on one of the Gaming Factory games for the "best"
- special acknowledgment from Human Farm devs
- participating in an online interview
and more!
Other awards often depend on the number of people involved and will be disclosed during the Challenge.
Remember, the game is not brutal, it is the reality that forces us to show it like this. We hope it won't J Hurt anyone.
