What’s good, gamers? The pre-race load screen is cleaned up and implemented! It turned out pretty much exactly as we’d hoped which isn’t always the case so we’re excited about it. Even further exceeding expectations is the leaderboard function! We’ve been wanting to include some sort of long-term goal and it looks like through Steam we’ll be able to track how many points everyone’s earned overall in ZeroHour. Not only that, but we’ll also track the best lap times for each track! We really wanted to do daily, weekly and monthly totals but sadly it doesn’t appear that can be automated, so it’s unlikely at this point. What we can add should be a nice touch, though!
Completed
- Pre-race load screen that displays everyone, their color and loading status
Next
- Online smoothing so other racers don’t jitter as much
- Tracks: Imara, Te ora, Wawae
- Steam leaderboards for ZeroHour
- PosHUD visual refinement
- Practice difficulty selection
- Online Quick mode races filled out with AI
- ZeroHour change so quitters get the worst finish instead of clearing the result
Thanks!
