Hi everyone István here, your friendly Blue Flame developer.
In my last post I started a devlog series, that quickly turned into nothing, because as it turns out raising a puppy (look at her, omg so cute) working 8 hours a day, developing a game, maintaining a social life and a devlog is kinda hard, I talked about what's still left to do in the game.
Well, some of that is still left to do, but today I'm here to talk about what can you except from the game post launch. Here's the roadmap:
Let's break this image down. Let's start with the obvious, the game launches on the 29th of January.
Update 1.1
Update 1.1 is gonna be a patch that will contain a lot of player feedback. Since this is a solo project and while I have a clear vision of the game, I got limited feedback regarding some aspects of the game. This patch's aim will be to get more feedback an incorporate that into the game as well as some boss encounter updates. I'm estimating to release this 1-1.5 month after the game's initial release.
EXTRA! EXTRA! EXTRA!
Update 1.2
This is gonna be a bigger one. Update 1.2 brings new free content to everyone who owns the game. New interesting underground levels that tie into the game's world and expands it's lore. One of the key NPC's of this update will be Loremaster Sebastian. I'm planning to get this content update to everyone at the beginning of the summer.
Update 1.3 & 1.4
Both of these updates will add extra content to the game with update 1.3 featuring the hills of the Dragonpeak mountain and update 1.4 featuring the still functioning, but isolated community of the last pyromancers. I'm planning to release theses update at the end of the summer and at the 2021 holiday season.
Of course between these larger updates I'll be making sure to bugfix as much as possible with what little time I have.
I hope you all as excited as I am for the game's release and future!
