Today's update consists mainly of bugfixes and quality of life improvements:
UI and Controls:
Re-enabled left alt threat display
Spells with targeting requirements- for instance, Aether Swap and Dominate- now show all in-range in-LOS non targetable tiles as red to help players see range and LOS.
Changed enchantment color to green from grey to make various UI things look better.
In the shop screen, the tag column uses tag hotkeys instead of tag first letters now to reduce confusion.
Allied spiders no longer make webs if all enemies are dead, cause it was annoying and it covered up powerups and portals.
Made end game defeat (or victory!) screenshots always show the red outline of the player (or Mordred).
Spell upgrades can now be purchased by selecting a known spell in the shop (previously it was only the character screen).
All loot can be autopickup'ed upon clearing a level by pressing 'a'.
The end game screen can now be exited via the mouse (just keep left clicking)
Visual Polish:
Idols actively cast their debuff on you instead of passively applying it. They also show a visual effect when doing so. This will only impact gameplay in rare cases, but hopefully it will help players learn what the Idols are doing.
Idol of Undeath and Idol of life also show a little effect around themselves when they tick to help announce their presence.
Added visual effect to tombstone ghost summons.
Bugfixes:
Fixed a crash that occurred if you right clicked in the options menu after accessing the options menu from the title screen.
Fixed a levelgen crash that occurred when every space was occupied
Fixed many spell tooltip typos, thank you to all who pointed these out.
Bloodghasts are no longer vulnerable to poison.
Fixed Starfire spirit sprite (was using chaos spirit sprite erroneously)
Gameplay:
Demon Sorcerer's Invoke Chaos spell no longer stuns the player. It was causing some lame deaths.
Removed the conjuration tag from most passive skills, except Arch Conjurer and skills that directly summon allies on level start (Bone Guard, Houndlord, Fae Stone)
Venom Spit deals 4 initial poison damage (up from 0)
Thanks to everyone participating in Rift Wizard's Early Access period for helping find all this stuff! The vast majority of these items were inspired by discussion on the discord or by watching people play on youtube/twitch.
