Hi everyone,
another coincidence!
Almost two years to the day after I released Pharaoh Reloaded on Steam, I'm proud to release the big multiplayer update today. \o/
So much has happened, but first things first:
New game mode: Multiplayer!
- A complete new mode to play, almost a new game
- A match can take up to four players
- Play a match with multiple rounds. Find as much treasures as you can, shoot the guardians of the pyramid and annoy your friends. The highest score wins!
Tutorials!
- Learn how to play Singleplayer and Multiplayer mode. It's no longer necessary to read boring manuals. But you still can, if you want ;-)
- During the game you can always consult ingame help-dialogs
Music!
- Rob the pyramids while moody music is playing
Changes
- Some design-changes were made for players who suffer from red-green color blindness
- Title scene now contains selection of Tutorials, Singleplayer or Multiplayer
- You can select the classic or classic-plus-experience in the Singleplayer settings now
- Rework of the round-won- and game-over-fanfares
- The Steam Shoppage got some new content containing of new fancy videos, screenshots and a updated description
Bugfixes!
- Text in highscore now has better contrast
- Singleplayer mode: the player was constantly injured in pause mode when hitting by enemy in the moment of pausing
- A lot of optimization and minor bugfixes under the hood
