It has been a while since the last news update. The primary reason for this is my procilivity for postponing things until they can be done properly. I shamefully admit it took way too long until it occured to me that it is as a matter of fact possible to write a small update while working on the major ones.
So what's going on with the game and where are we heading.
Version 0.1 released in June 2020. The feedback this generated has been immeasurably useful. It helped align the game design and production plan towards what matters. It allowed us to track down and fix a couple very hard to find tech issues (nerd alert; raunchy race conditions). Your feedback and reviews also gave us the confidence to start another investment round and it gave our investors faith in the long term success of the project. I don't want to jinx it, but the likelihood of us pulling a Titanic on our maiden voyage has been greatly reduced (though, in all fairness, that is what the Titanic thought as well).
Version 0.2 released in October 2020. It addressed three things; onboarding, information presentation and the above mentioned tech issues. Not the most exciting features but definitely required before we could work on the more exciting stuff.
Version 0.3 has been in the works ever since. It was the first time in almost a year where we could sit down and reasonably ask ourselves; alright, out of all the stuff we want in the final product that isn't in yet, what do we prioritize?
There is going to be a lot of information between now and the release of patch 0.3, where we will be diving deeper into all the changes.
For now, here's the promised teaser.
