I know winning an award like this would be a long shot for a solo indie dev with his first project like me, but even a nomination would be a big deal, and potentially expand the userbase. This can lead to more suggestions and creative ideas, which would lead to more content, game mechanics, game modes, enemy types, etc.
Endgame: Road To Salvation is intended to be a difficult game that rewards persistence and forward thinking. Whether you are being stomped on by giant demons, chomped on by towering horrors, hunted by rogue AI, or torn apart by a large number of other horrifying enemies, taking a stand can be a death sentence. Knowing when to fight and when to run can expand your life expectancy.
