Hey all!
This is my first community post for Fantasy Story! What a crazy month! The apocalypse is going on outside, but thankfully I have stayed in and got to work on the game! It is super exciting to have a store presence now! I have gotten traffic from all over the world and that is so awesome!
I would sort of like to talk about what I am currently working on!
On Deck Currently
So, right now my biggest priority is to get a demo ready for the Steam Summer Festival. This involves designing a boss battle, updating UI, designing rooms, and playtesting! Overall, it is something I would really love to get the game into. It would bring new fans in and let me get the game out there! Here is a WIP sprite of the boss I am working on.
I am going to add in some options menu stuff as well. A lot of this needed to be done anyways, but I had planned on doing more of my polish stuff later on. Crazy how things work out! Here are a couple of things I would like to add:
- Tabs or arrows to indicate what menu tab you're in.
- Sound level options
- General refinements and bugfixes
This is going to be a stressful month, but I feel like in the end it will be worth it. I can't wait for you guys to get to play the game. :)
Until next time,
~Kei
