It's been a while.
There Was the Moon came out in 2020, and I've left it largely untouched since. But I've been listening to what players have said, and that turned into an update. It's now live.
What's in 1.3
The headline addition is full controller support, including Steam Deck compatibility, part of an ongoing effort toward Steam Deck certification.
Beyond that, a few things that have been on my list:
The ability to run (hold shift, or left trigger on your controller)
A settings menu with look sensitivity controls
Various bug fixes
The price is changing
A recurring theme in reviews has been that $9.99 felt a little high for the length of the experience. That feedback is fair.
There Was the Moon is now $4.99.
A thank you
If you've already played, thank you. It means something that you spent time with something I made. I hope the update makes a revisit worth your while.
