Hey guys,
We are thrilled to announce part of the updates we have made in the first two weeks after SpellPunk’s release:
(1) a brand new Spell Recognition System - yes, we put some insane amount of work, but your initial feedback was that in order to cast the spells you have to be very precise, so we decided to completely revamp the way our recognition system works and make it easier for you to cast the spells. We hope that now you finally will feel what it is like to be a real magician, but do not forget that you need to put some effort in learning at least how the symbols look like. And if you do that - we promise you, that you will play the game at the exact way as it is shown in the video below:
(2) changed Magic Symbols - we have changed the magic symbols for the “Air” and “Water” spells. We are pretty sure that you will enjoy casting the Air symbol.
(3) Training Mode - we have changed the whole look of the Training Mode, painting it in different colours and also have added a small feature which will help you to learn how to cast the magical symbols better. You can take a look here:
(4) Main Menu Scene - entering SpellPunk’s main menu scene you will be able to immerse yourself in a brand new vibrant environment.
(5) Main Menu - we have completely changed how the main menu looks.
(6) Game Settings - with this update you will be able to change music and sound volume and to change your graphics settings. More coming soon.
(7) Finding Match screen - you will be able to enjoy a cool comic book style art with your character while waiting for a multiplayer match to start
(8) Winner - Loser Screen - yes, you will see how your character looks when he or she is happy or sad.
We have also fixed some (9) small bugs.
(10) We are finally supporting HTC Vive Cosmos controllers.
In the next big update we are planning to add more varied spells that will add to the action, leaderboards and an invite friends system so that you do not have to rely on the matchmaking system and challenge someone you will enjoy to duel with. Stay tuned. A lot more to come!
And last but not least - we are happy to invite you to SpellPunk’s brand new Discord Channel: https://discord.gg/ueR8GFr
Best wishes and thank you for being part of our community,
