Welcome to 'The streamer and review feedback update'!
Since the launch of Alpha Particle we have joined forces with various streamers that played the game while we watch to gather clues on how to better the game. Additionally these streamers would sometimes give us valuable feedback as well. Many of these streamers came from ChasingXP, an Indie / Streamer initiative.
Various reviews and articles were written about Alpha Particle of which we corresponded with most of the reviewers. And you guessed it! They also gave us some more valuable information, and we acted on it. One such reviewer that did a fantastic job on the reviews as well as various recommendations and bug finds was CSH Picone (Steam curator).
That said, this update is dedicated to all of these people that was involved within the last few weeks.
Updates:
- Faster level restart
- Finding a hidden area now completes the level if all threats have been removed
- Entity information menu text replaced with a simpler font for better readability
- Scanner ability acquired early in game
- HUD flashes when energy low
- Low energy warning message on level start
- Travel cost reduced
Apart from these changes many other smaller changes were made.
This update also includes various small bug fixes.
We hope you enjoy this new update as much as we do!
