The game has been in Early Access for around two days now, and we've made a few adjustments according to the feedback we've received (mostly from Steam reviews).
We understand that UI and font changes are crucial, so those are the first things we focused on.
So here are the changes for this patch：
1. Font Size: Some of the Chinese text was too small to read, so we adjusted the font size
2. Font Change: The game now uses the Noto Sans CJK font
3. UI: We cleaned up the UI presentation
The information headings and the actual numbers are now shown in different colors, so hopefully, it'll be easier to read.
4. Balance Change: ; You can only have 2 effects activated now, down from 3
5. QoL Change: The direction of the Main Cannon was hard to see, highlighted where it is pointing towards with a beam
6. SFX Fix: Loud noise while low on HP
We got rid of the super loud warning when you are low on health, it wasn't anything major, but we can definitely see how annoying it can be.
7. Enhanced: VFX when a cyber spirit is produced (When you touch the bubble)
A lot of people don't seem to know what the bubbles do. We think that might be due to the lack of clarity of the Cyber Spirits.
...
What we're working on (to-do list)：
- Fix: Enemy projectile is difficult to see
- Visual Enhancement: Map Icon
- New Features: A cool main weapon
- Features Change: A technology to give your Fortress additional durability added; the Shield Amplifier facility will be removed
We will always update Steam as soon as possible, so as long as you are playing the version on Steam, you can be sure that it is the most up to date build of Craft in Abyss.
