Dear "Hua Mulan: A Chinese Learning Adventure" Community,
As I sit down to write this message, my heart is filled with a blend of excitement, gratitude, and a deep sense of accomplishment. After several years of development, filled with countless hours of hard work, dedication, and invaluable feedback from all of you, I am overjoyed to announce that our game, "Hua Mulan: A Chinese Learning Adventure," will officially launch on Steam this Lunar New Year!
This journey began with a simple yet ambitious dream: to create a game that was not just fun to play but also offered a meaningful and immersive way to learn Chinese. We wanted to break new ground, to blend education with entertainment in a way that hadn't been done before. And now, seeing that dream become a reality feels surreal.
I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you in our community. Your patience, support, and passionate feedback have been the guiding stars of this project. There were challenges and hurdles along the way, but your encouragement and belief in what we were creating kept us going. You were a part of our team, every step of the way.
Launching in sync with the Lunar New Year is symbolic for us. It’s a time of new beginnings, of setting forth on new journeys, and what better way to do that than with the story of Mulan, a tale of courage, adventure, and discovery. We can't wait for you to step into ancient China, to learn and grow with each quest, and to write your own story in the annals of time.
As we approach the release date, I want to reaffirm our commitment to not just launching a game, but to creating an ongoing, evolving experience. We are eagerly looking forward to your continued feedback and involvement post-launch, to grow and refine the game further.
So, mark your calendars for February 7th, and get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure. The legend of Mulan awaits your participation. Thank you for being such an integral part of this journey, and here’s to the many more adventures we'll have together!
With immense gratitude,
Ian Natzmer
