Hey, everyone!
It's me, Dungeon No Dungeon's creator, Larcen!
Today I'd like to address each one of the numerous issues that have arisen since going online.
First off, let me offer my sincerest apologies!
We're deeply sorry that so many of you, who've offered us your trust and support, have encountered a whole host of issues right after launch. We were suddenly hit by a wave of feedback concerning these problems, the vast majority of which hadn't even cropped up at all in our previous rounds of testing. As such, we've been stretched to our limits as we try and stay on top of it all. However, please rest assured that everything is being done to ensure these issues are tackled appropriately, and we're working tirelessly to improve your gaming experience.
The following measures are being taken to solve the difficulties being faced at present:
- Over the next several weeks we will be sorting together and solving the problems existent today, and improving the game as fast as we can.
- We'll be prioritizing key issues that have the biggest impact on your overall experience.
- Problems with resolution and windowed mode will be dealt with as soon as possible.
- We'll also be coming up with improvements and conducting testing to address the feedback we've received stating that the difficulty needs to be adjusted.
- We will be making our paid DLC Dungeon No Dungeon: Blood Knight completely free, and asking Steam to offer full refunds to all who have purchased it.
(Since Steam requires at least 30 days period to change it to free,
We will temporarily remove Dungeon No Dungeon: Blood Knight DLC from the store page until it changed to free, and offering a full refund to whoever bought it when Steam allowed.)
- We promise that no paid DLC will appear in the game until it leaves early access.
Also, to express our apology:
- We'd like to present you all with a free HD wallpaper; available via the following link: https://mega.nz/file/jggWkBiS#2RQMwf6xAsqOAnTIT2mz_Eq34TXV8DdKVzpGz5FyVKk
- All backers will receive a free key for the Blood Knight DLC today.
We'll listen carefully to every suggestion you've got for us, fix every bug we can, and improve anything and everything that needs it. And that's the way it'll stay—we'll keep working to polish our game until you're all satisfied. To tell the truth, given that this is our first foray into game creation, we were at a loss as to what to do when faced with so much criticism, blame, and disapproval. It hit us like a bucket of cold water: a shock, but a welcome wake-up call to the fact that there are many areas in which we're lacking, and still need to keep working on! We'll keep on doing our best, and thank each and every one of you for your feedback. Don't lost faith in us, we'll keep forging on ahead!
Wishing you all the best,
Larcen.
