The idea for Dungeon No Dungeon came from a board game project. Besides our development of the game on Steam, the board game version is also a project we've got in the pipeline.
However, right now, we are facing several practical problems: First, we are in need of more resources, time, and energy. With so many projects on our plate, we're hard-pushed to make our limited resources be used where they count most. Second, instead of making a stand-alone board game, we'd like for the board game version of Dungeon No Dungeon to be able to interact and connect with the Steam and iOS versions too. While developing the Steam game, we also made early plans and designs for some of the interactive features in the board game.
The board game will use dice and game pieces, and according to the number of participants, physical maps of different sizes.
In future expansions, there will be custom-made maps depending on how many people are playing. New board game characters and map expansions are planned to be released through the game store when added to the Steam and iOS versions. The game supports 2+ players, with one taking on the role of an adventurer and the other the dungeon master. At the most, it will support 7 players: 2 adventure teams and 1 dungeon master, with 3 players on each team. The game will be mainly focused on adventuring, but we are still working on designing advanced gameplay details.

That is all we can reveal about the board game for now. Please follow our update notices if you are interested in its development. We will release new information detailing our exciting progress whenever possible.
