VISUALS
- Nothing new to report here, for obvious reasons.
GAMEPLAY
- Frouge has begun “hooking up” the True Final Boss fight to the main game.
STORY
- I’ll be posting a running count from here on out so you’ve all got an idea of how many are left to write.
- Remaining: 277 Cutscenes. No, that isn’t a typo. Yes, I believe they can be finished by Sept. 22nd.
- Probably 90% of the work for cutscenes comes from the prep work; making sure cutscenes properly connect continuity-wise to other scenes, researching info regarding science or other real world things that appear in the cutscene, writing character “personality” sheets forconsistent dialogue, designing parts of the map around each character, and a zillion other things.
- The actual WRITING itself, when all that mountain of prep is done, is the easiest/fastest part.
AUDIO
- Nothing new to report here; Wishful Simping is taking a week to deal with some IRL things.
