This unplanned patch is released to cover the need for another hotfix for catch-up and reordering mechanic, and with it adds one of the new features that was meant for Demo Update 3. Along with the time limit this will make recovery a lot more tactical overall!
Demo Update 2.5 Fixed & Improvements
- Added new feature: diminishing recovery returns to avoid exploiting. A maximum recovery move will now reduce the in-stage maximum recovery by 1 to a lower limit of 1. This in conjunction with the implementation of the time limit gets rid of the recovery exploiting in stage races.
- Fixed various issues with catch-up and its effects on ordering and the reordering UI
- Fixed an end-of-tutorial crash
We do plan to release Demo Update 3 according to schedule despite this intermediate release.
Cheers!
