As it turned out, the open beta version V1.0.3 did come with a new few bugs that we need to address before being able to merge this with the default branch. To make it a bit more than just a hotfix, we snuck in some nice quality of life / usability improvements into this little patch as well!
Hey look! Now you can actually see who's selected vs. who's turn to move it is. The white outline is for the currently selected rider, the bright background one is up next in moving / reordering.
Note that V1.0.4 is available only on the open_beta branch at the moment.
Version 1.0.4 Fixes & Improvements
- Fixed up issues in sprinting and catch-ups that led to rider positions being wrong
- Fixed issues in season evaluation by sponsor, giving wrong statement about your performance
- Fixed UI issue in career levelling of your rider that would allow a specialization respec
- Improved rider selection UI to show who is selected and who's turn it is
- Improved clarity in rider reordering, making riders that already have reordered more opaque
We are working on a bigger patch for the end of next week, which will have a lot of small gameplay improvements, UI fixes, and polish. That will be the point where we call Version 1.0 done and welcome development towards Version 1.1, which will pack a good set of new and improved features.
After next week's patch, but before starting on V1.1, we will take a little bit of time off (~2 weeks) and hope you'll enjoy the game in the meantime.
Cheers!
