Knock-knock, travelers!
We continue working on your favorite characters! The gardener orc will soon meet you in his new orchard; the Alchemist is no longer homeless; Bjorn has caught sea fever; and we've caught dwarven fever!
Hero of the Sword and Pick Axe
It's October already, and the kind orc’s garden has grown significantly! See a new color photo straight from the Crimson Steppes in the attachment.
The Cabin in the Woods Swamps
We're working on the Alchemist’s hut! He won’t let you become dinner for wolves, but he’ll happily offer you yet another one of his random, mysterious elixirs. He also would like some advice on home decor. What would you like to see on our old crank’s table and walls?
Getting Ready for Halloween!
We continue working on new character skins. One of the biggest challenges was matching the skins with the equipment. We think we’ve successfully tackled it!
777 Dwarves, Not a Single Snow White In Sight
One of our artists has been working exclusively on dwarves for a second straight month. Our work chat is overflowing with dwarves; during work calls we wait, with bated breath, for reports on new dwarves; even before bed, we count no sheep but them — drunk and sober, cruel and kind, running, yelling, sitting, and growling — an endless parade of dwarves.
Well, it turned out it's contagious, and now our animator has also started working on dwarves! What do you think of the new animation below? In the gif, a native of the Thundering Mountain has already freed himself from captivity. As for us, we’ve lost hope of freeing ourselves from the dwarf fever, as we can barely remember what the other races even look like!
How About Some Chit-Chat?
Hey! As usual, it’s Andrew aka Innrey, the founder of RedBoon.
We continue improving the game, and this week has been truly productive.
First, we did some serious work on the interface for tooltips in cards and events. This wouldn’t have been possible without you all, so I want to thank everyone who supports us and shares their feedback on the game.
Second, we’ve started optimizing the game for Steam Deck. It’s a complex process that will take time, but thanks to you, we were able to define clear tasks in this area and have already started moving towards our goal.
And finally, we’ve significantly improved the Test Panel—a sort of god mode for the game’s programmers and testers. Now we’ll be able to tackle bugs even faster.
We’ve also recorded a new video diary for you, which will be uploaded very soon.
A huge thank you for your contributions!
