Let's talk a little about the main problem - the balance in Knock on the coffin lid. As soon as the game became available on Steam, there was feedback from users who were dissatisfied with the game design and in-game balance. These were not just messages from people who decided to throw out their negative in our community, not at all. We got worthwhile, motivated feedback from people who understood what they were talking about and really wanted to help us make the game even better. Thanks to such feedback, we managed to solve some of the problems, but, unfortunately, these changes did not affect the whole picture, and the game remained unbalanced.
After leaving lead game designer, we decided to change the concept and approach the issue from a different angle. Nobody knows the game as well as its dedicated players (and the developers, of course), so we decided to collect as much of your feedback on KOTCL under this post as possible. Of course, we understand that in this way we voluntarily open a portal to ... the other world;) But we are ready to re-read the mountains of your constructive and unconstructive comments, evaluate all the proposed ideas (and sometimes you have brilliant one), amend them with our edits and form a roadmap along which we can move together towards the release.
Now you have a chance to become a part of the RedBoon team and influence the future of the project. For doing this, just share your ideas for the development of the game or worthwhile comments in the comments. It doesn't matter if you wrote to us before or not, be sure to duplicate your old comments and generate new ones. The more constructiveness there is in your proposals, the more actively you throw ideas, the higher the likelihood that we will indicate your name in the credits for the game and will please you with other pleasant bonuses.
P.S.: If suddenly you have unspoken thoughts, but you do not want to put them on public in comments, you can send an email to us at [email protected]
We are waiting for your best ideas in the comments!
