Knock, knock, travelers!
We released the largest patch since the release. In the patch, we reworked ALL events. Although we checked it through and through, some minor bugs can occur during the first few days after the release. If you notice something suspicious, please let us know. We will do our best to fix the situation as soon as possible.
We apologize for any possible inconveniences.
We would also like to thank everyone who took part in the open beta test. You have no idea how much you've helped the project—we're forever indebted to you!
If the patch note with all its technical details looks more like a spell scroll—don’t worry! Here’s what’s in the update:
We’ve added:
- Event Log—Now you can easily track your (not always so heroic) history.
- Battle Log—Rewatch your greatest victories or those runs where you collected the Elven set for the thousandth time…
- Event Notes on the Map—No more “Wait, where did I see that?!”
- Dozens of New Rewards—Get your inventory ready for fresh loot.
But that’s not all! You can also look forward to:
- New Golem Adventures (hope you like gardening!)
- Tarantino-style dialogues with the guards
- A bit of alchemy and potion brewing
- A fishing mini-game (you might not like the catch…)
- And, of course, new cards
It’s all already in the game! Are you still here? Then welcome to the festive edition of New Midian Chronicle!
We've worked hard to improve the game, but your feedback means the world to us! If you run into bugs or have ideas and suggestions, reach out on Discord or email us at: [email protected]. We read everything carefully and are happy to respond!
We've been swamped with playtesting and bug fixing this week, but no deadline can burn out our inspiration—we still have plenty to show you. Let’s go!
Event Log – Your Personal Book of Life
Now, you can examine the threads of your fate under a magnifying glass. Your achievements and quest goals are neatly stored in the Event Log—clear as day. Reflect on your decisions, analyze storylines, and try to pinpoint, in which moment everything went wrong. Happy reading!
Bjorn’s New Multi-Level Card!
This patch has us howling at the moon! Our artists went all out, creating four different artworks for a single card so you can upgrade it to your heart’s content! And that’s not all! So better get your deck ready!
The Orc Chief is Waiting!
The bloody Crimson Steppes are a ruthless, merciless land where the weak won’t live long. To survive here one has to know their way around weapons. The only law here is the law of brute force.
Massive, fearsome, and relentless, the orcs know no mercy and feel no fear. They don’t build cities, sow fields, or forge metal—they take what they want.
Among them, Moggot is a living legend. His footsteps echo across the golden sands of the Steppes, and goblins whisper his name to scare their youngins.
Are you ready to challenge him? Hold on tight, because this fight might be the last in your current game…
Heaps of New Loot
We might need to raise the game’s age rating because now you can find:
- Necklace of teeth
- Dwarven blood, demon blood, elven blood, super-goblin blood
- An experimental growth elixir—guess whose fat it’s made from? Bon appétit!
- And dozens of other new items!
So, start clearing out your inventory!
How About Some Chit-Chat!
Hello from Knock’s kitchen! It’s Andrew aka Innrey, I’m here to share the secret recipe for this season’s biggest patch!
Ingredients:
- 10,000 lines of code
- 20 liters of tears spilled over bugs
- A cup of inspiration
- A pinch of almost-not-overdue deadlines
Simmer everything for 8 months over the heat of your likes and comments—until golden-brown, crispy, and bug-free game.
The secret ingredient? Your feedback!
Last week, we launched open beta testing, and I have only three words: You. Saved. Us! Huge thanks to all beta testers for your suggestions, bug reports, and comments! We’re a small team, and without you, it would’ve been much harder to find those seeds of chaos and glitches you uncovered.
So we had gathered enough feedback on OBT, triple-checked everything, crossed our fingers, and… the update is live!
Honestly? We’re exhausted—but incredibly happy. It feels like a massive weight off our shoulders.
What’s next? We’ll head for DLC! The storm is behind us, the wind of your feedback is filling our sails, and your comments light the way like the North Star. Our weekend plan is to hibernate. On Monday, we’ll dive headfirst into the ocean of DLC tasks.
Thank you so much! We can feel your support almost physically, and it keeps us moving forward.
And, by the way, until February 7, you can get Knock with a discount! So if you were waiting for the opportune moment to grab the game—this is it! 🎉
See you in New Midian, and have a great weekend!
