Hey everyone!
Six years after making HOLD 10 SECONDS, I’ve returned to give it some much needed attention: fixing major technical issues, improving the experience, and finally addressing one of your most repeated requests.
- Much faster respawns Less time waiting after each death, more time trying again. The challenge is surviving ten seconds, not waiting for another attempt.
- Windows 11 crash fix Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash immediately on Windows 11. If you couldn’t get it to launch before, this update is for you.
- Major performance improvements Fixed significant performance issues and optimized effects to help the game run more smoothly.
- A clearer tutorial Made the tutorial more intuitive.
- Steam Cloud and Steam Deck support Added Steam Cloud saves and support for playing on Steam Deck.
- Smaller file size and plenty of fixes Reduced the game’s file size and made numerous smaller fixes and gameplay tweaks throughout.
I’m sorry it took me so long to come back and give this game the attention it needed. Life, work, and other projects kept me busy.
HOLD 10 SECONDS is free, and working on it has always been a labour of love. This was my first solo dev game, and I have a soft spot for it.
Thank you for playing, for sharing your feedback, and for giving it another go after all this time.
