As Severed Steel enters the final stages of development, we're looking for additional player feedback to help refine the experience so it's as slick and solid for launch as possible. With that in mind, a closed beta will be taking place between 14-21 July. Players accepted for the beta will receive a Steam key via email on 14 July.
The beta will include the following content:
- 10 campaign levels
- 10 arcade mode levels
- New game modifying 'mutators' (including 'floor is lava' and 'dive into wall run')
- New enemies (including jetpacks and flamethrowers)
The beta version also features changes made based on player feedback gathered during the recent Steam Next Fest (including tweaks to movement speed, HUD, and weapon balancing), so a huge thank you to everyone who downloaded and played the demo! We were absolutely blown away by the support!
