Hey there, PHs.
Yeah, it's about time we created an abbreviation for the phrase "puny humans". So yeah, "puny humans" = "PHs" from now on.
Anyway, to the big news. Even though according to the Despot you humans don't actually deserve it and never will, we decided to reveal the date of the game exiting Early Access. Are you kneeling before His Despotic Majesty yet? Good. Here we go.
DESPOT'S GAME 1.0 IS COMING ON SEPTEMBER 15TH
Keep kneeling before d'Spot, PHs! That's not all! While you were annoyingly asking "ReLEASe WheN" this summer, we were actually working on something cool.
"Something cool" is DLC that is going to be released with the 1.0 version of the game on September 15th!
The add-on is called Challenges 🌑 and features various, um, challenges. This is sort of a test site with 20 missions to complete. There's no randomly generating stuff: each item and enemy has its own spawn point. The only thing that matters here is your tactical skills, nothing more. Screw luck; who needs it anyway?
If you buy the game before its September 15th 1.0 launch, you get the DLC for free! Those who already own the game will receive the DLC on launch. The 1.0 price will increase, so now is a great chance to pick the game up at the Early Access price and also become a proud owner of the upcoming DLC! By the way, the game is 20% off until August 11th. O Despot, O Kind, O Generous!

Still kneeling? Good! Because there's one more thing. Remember our previous game, Despotism 3k? It's free to keep until August 7th. Now accept the gift with endless gratitude.

Okay, at ease, puny humans. You have enough patience to wait six weeks, don't you? Good. While you're waiting, let us know how extremely excited you are in the comments below. Because we've got plenty of amazing new content heading your way with 1.0: reworked mechanics, brand-new quests, never-before-seen enemies and mutations, an expanded soundtrack and more!
