[DEV’s note]
As our primary option to help players set diverse goals within the game, we added more rewards. The rewards added this time will induce more involvement in the game; for support boxes, they are now added as daily quest rewards or as purchasable items at Shop with daily limit. Inside the support box, you will see outfit skin shards (collect a certain number of them to obtain a whole skin), skin dye, etc. The dye system will be introduced some time around May, but we are presenting the items beforehand so that they can be used as soon as the system becomes available. We will expedite the process to bring the dye system to you.

[Dev’s note]
To mitigate the situations where the tide of the battle gets decided early by pure luck, the number of Boss Defense Gears that appear in the arena has been reduced to just one. Since only one Boss Defense Gear will appear at a random location at each battle, it will be difficult to intently search for them. Plus, even if a team acquired a Boss Defense Gear by luck, the item would be among the relatively less powerful gears, further reducing the gap between teams.

| 2 | 3% | 2.5% |
| 3 | 3.5% | 3% |
| 4 | 4% | 3.5% |
[Dev’s note]
Hexe Marie’s Frightening Crow(R) applies the fixed damage of a certain percentage of the opponent’s remaining HP, ignoring their DP. On top of this outstanding AP, the skill has an overwhelming efficiency against objects with high HPs such as Shadow Lords or Ancient Relics. Therefore, we adjusted the balance between skills by decreasing the Crows’ damage per hit and increasing the damage of Harbinger’s Scythe and Shadow of Quturan.

- Shadow Lords can now make special attacks, and their combat methods have changed as below.
> If you were attacked in the middle of a special attack made by a Shadow Lord, only 50% of the total damage would be applied.
| Shdow Lord | Combat Method | Special Attack |
| Varigord | If the monster’s HP goes below 65%, it will occasionally attack by Jumb Body Slam or Roar. | Jump Body Slam: Destroy the opponent’s defense and blow them back, reducing their DP by –50% for 8 sec. Roar attack: Stun the opponent and reduce their DP by –50% for 8 sec. ※ Varigord is invicible while jumping. |
| Gigagord | Increased the speed of Sprint by 42.8%. A DP debuff effect of –30% for 8 sec will be applied to all attacks. If the monster’s HP goes below 65%, it will sit and take the motion to summon Shadow Meteorites. | Shadow Meteorite: Destroy the opponent’s defense and blow them back. ※ Fixed Damage of Shadow Meteorites: 1500 |
| Saigord | Increased the speed of Sprint by 98.5%. A DP debuff effect of –50% for 8 sec will be applied to all attacks. If the monster’s HP goes below 65%, it will roar, dash, and then wield its chains to fill the place with Shadow Flame. | Roar: Destoy the oppnent’s defense and blow them badk. Shadow Flame: Constantly inflicts a strong damage over its duration of approximately 1 minute. |
[Dev’s note]
Shadow Lords are the objects that give as valuable rewards as they are powerful. Stronger teams use these objects as additional benefits on top of the pre-existing superiority in battle. Meanwhile, weaker teams would use them as variables to reverse the tide of the battle via “Shadow Lord battles”. However, their practical use currently seems to be fixed, since stronger teams mostly take over first, kill a Shadow Lord in 5 seconds, absorb all rewards from defeating them, and quickly seize the next Shadow Lord. Therefore, we have increased the survival ability of Shadow Lords so that hunting them becomes difficult even for stronger teams. Plus, special attacks with various patterns are added to let teams of all levels enjoy the tension and employ different tactics.
- The rewards and buff effects obtainable by defeating Shadow Lords have changed as below.
| Shdow Lord | Before | Now |
| Varigord | 200 Tokens, Party AP/DP +30 | - 200 Tokens - Obtain 1 of the following Boss Defense Gears > Muskan's Shoes, Urugon's Shoes - Obtain Varigord's Soul Buff > HP+500, HP Auto Recovery +200 |
| Gigagord | 400 Tokens, Party AP/DP +50 | - 400 Tokens - Obtain 1 of the following Boss Defense Gears > Bheg's Gloves, Leebur's Gloves - Obtain Gigagord's Soul Buff > Movement Speed +5%, Stamina +30 |
| Saigord | 700 Tokens, Party AP/DP +80 | - 600 Tokens - Obtain 1 of the below Boss Defense Gears > Giath's Helmet, Griffon's Helmet, Dim Tree Spirit's Armor - Obtain Saigord's Soul Buff > Attack Speed +5%, Ignore DP +15% |
> Shadow Lord’s Soul buff is applied to all members of the team that defeated a Shadow Lord.
> Shadow Lord’s Soul buff disappears when the player dies after defeating a Shadow Lord.
> The description of Shadow Lord in [Tutorial] has changed to match the above information.
> The description of Shadow Lord at the bottom of the Create Party window has changed to match the above information.
[Dev’s note]
The rewards for defeating Shadow Lords increased both AP and DP, numbing the sense of growth or achievement on the team that obtained them, while significantly discouraging the other team. Therefore, we removed the AP and DP buff effect and instead added Shadow Lords’ “Soul” buffs that grant special buffs such as movement speed or attack speed. Furthermore, a single Boss Defense Gear item would be dropped so that only one player among the team would obtain them.
These changes are designed to empower a “certain individual” rather than "everyone” of the team. Depending on various factors such as obtaining the Boss Defense Gear or accumulating multiple Soul buffs without dying, a member could grow strong enough to lead the entire team. On the other side, the opposing team would be able to tactically keep an individual player in check and target the rest first, instead of fighting against an evenly strong gang.
| Stoneback Crab
- Among buff effects from defeating Steppe Stoneback Crabs, Party AP has changed from +40 to +30.
- Among buff effects from defeating Mountain Stoneback Crabs, Party DP has changed from +80 to +60.
