SALUTATIONS, GHOSTFOLK!
This next big update brings you the Eternal Mists, A new plane of existence where the Ghosts of Eville reside. No longer will you have to watch your fellow players helplessly fight for their lives.
Now you can support them and explore the (not so) Endless Mists. If you're looking for a quick summary of our update you can watch our devlog here:
The endless mists
Once you die you will find yourself in the Endless Mists.
Some of the coin you made during your life will be exchanged into Spirit Tokens. You can use these to buy items that have an influence on the remaining living players.
These abilities and items are unique to ghosts and give some exciting tools to play around with and help your living friends.

Your ghost - your choice
You may choose your own Ghost skills. The Endless Mists have their own teacher for eager ghost apprentices to learn a range of unique abilities. It's up to you how you can influence the living.
- Make your move - teleport from player to player or dash around quickly
- Protect your friends - by healing them from the beyond or disarm traps so they can't run into them
- Make mad dosh - by stealing the coins of the living, or be kind and grant players your inheritance
- Help the assassins - by granting your fellow conspirators temporary invisibility

Fill your ghastly bags
There is also a vendor for ghost exclusive one-time-use items which you can also buy in the Endless Mists.

You may wake up sleeping players, help conspirators blow up tunnels for direct access to innocent villager homes or mark bodies that haven't been found yet.

There are ways to gain Spirit Tokens for these items and abilities which is to:
Help ghosts and return to the mortal world!
But how do you pay your teacher? How can you make enough money to buy those items?
Well, worry not! There are many ghosts here that have unfinished business and need your help. We have expanded the quests to ghosts. We have 8 new quests given to you (for the most part) by ghosts.

You'll have to travel to the world of the living, to rewind time, hunt down lost souls, scare away ghosts and find old incantations. In turn the ghosts will provide you with Spirit Tokens you may use to help your friends. They also might offer some lore for those of you that read quest texts.

These Quests also help the living restore order or cause chaos in the town, although way more slowly than the quests of the living.

The Old Fortress
We have finished the fortress area. People lived here ages ago. Some ghost quests will take you there and you'll also find Red Gem Dust spawns there.
The fortress has multiple levels, an underground, and tower you can get to. Some places are only accessible as a ghost however.

User Interface Changes
With all the new ghost content out of the way we also had time to change some older UI parts and add controller support - the trading and crafting menus. The crafting menu also shows ingredients and info about the locations you can find them at.

We also remade the role claim and role assumption menus (with controller support) as well as their notifications. They are now up top and don't overlap with the other notifications anymore.
