First of all, the Eville team would like to wish everyone a good start to the new year! We hope that you're all staying safe and healthy in these turbulent times.
We've been busy, not only working on adding new features and fixing known bugs but also working closely together with the community. We've been lucky enough to garner the attention of a few well knows streamers that have taken the opportunity to stream Eville on numerous occasions, and we have many more streams planned.
Below are a few tidbits of info mostly concerning quality of life updates that we thought we'd share with you.
SIMPLE POTIONS ARE SIMPLE
A number of streamers and playtesters have voiced their opinion regarding the previous potion system, and we've tweaked it a bit. You no longer need a 4-year degree in chemistry or pharmaceuticals to understand the concept (wouldn't hurt though).
We made the potions simpler and added an antidote to make the poison curing process easier. We split up the health potion into a protection potion and antidote potion for better understanding. Additionally, crafting an antidote requires fewer ingredients, making a poison less life-threatening. We also removed the witch's cauldron since it was barely used and only caused confusion.
There is now a new health-bar! If you're poisoned you can see your life slowly fading away - yay!
The role and avatar have been refined to take up less space; finally less clutter on your screen :)

What's going on here?? Stop deleting stuff from Eville you say? We're actually working a lot on improving the performance and space of Eville and at the same time improving the looks. You might have noticed that in the recent streams.
SCAMMERS?! (oh brother!)
We're laughing, and crying at the same time. Apparently, we are known enough to be on the radar from some scammers. They are systematically reaching out to influencers and the press offering them money to post about Eville. All they have to do it download a dodgy link for the "Eville install" and the money will roll in....Well, that is not how we roll! If you're ever contacted about a deal or a download link for Eville - this is a scam/virus! We also only hand out Steam review keys, so don't ever download "Eville" anywhere but on Steam!
