Welcome to the first gameplay-adding update to Missy's Transformation Tournament! This one has a lot of things, but the principal feature is skin types - an entire new body part to transform!
Changelog:
- Add skin types into the game. Currently, these are bare skin, fur, scales, feathers and wool, with support for more in the future.
- Added the ability to delete champions.
- Expanded the scope of the sex system - now, the symbol on your character screen will change depending on your body configuration.
- Two new sexes have been added - intersex (for those that are not strictly male or female) and null (no sex). These can happen during a game's transformations.
- Made the transformations of pawns unto other pawns more powerful, so you'll see more pure morphs during the course of a game.
- Added a new item: the Skinchanger, into the game. Skinchangers can be found in common chests and change only your skin type.
- Added humanity losses to traps and effect zones.
- Added a cheat notification for the Velvet Deluxe Pass' cheat screen. This will let you know if your game is eligible for leaderboards. Using cheats or passwords will trigger your game to be 'cheated'.
- Added a limit to the archived fates - for the moment, the limit is 50,000.
- Added two new passwords to the Velvet Deluxe Pass' passwords system - MISSYSUCKS will trigger an event whilst FORECASTER will change the weather.
- Added a skin type selector into the Velvet Deluxe Pass' enhanced character creator.
- Changed the turtle torso by taking the shell and making it the first in a new kind of body part - back placeables. This also fixes some of the overlap it had previously.
- Updated all transformations to include skin types.
- Removed wool from the sheep torso sprite and converted its sprite into the new skin type mechanic.
- Fixed a bug where trunks of elephant-morphs appeared under male pawn's beards.
- Fixed the diet text in the character screen - it will now be accurate to your form.
- Added some more subheaders for the title screen.
A quick note: the sprites for the skin types will likely be tweaked in the coming days and weeks to better fit all combinations of body types.
Next, I plan to work on the tutorials and the in-game encyclopedia - to make understanding the game and its world a whole lot smoother.
Until next time!
