Good news, everyone! It’s been a week since Heroines of Swords & Spells was released and everything’s smooth as silk. You bought more than 500 copies of the game and it might not seem that great, but it kinda is. Well, at least in my book. Alas, most of the players are from Russia, although there are several English-speaking players and they even review the game (thank you from the bottom of my heart!). This makes me a bit sad, so if you have friends abroad, please tell them about my game.
Moving on to the patch notes. The game was updated to ver. 1.04:
- Minor mapping fixes: some passable tiles are now impassable.
- Less typos.
- Added an in-game notice near the point of no return (after which you will not be able to complete side quests anymore.
I am currently working on 1.05 patch because I received several letters asking about the possibility of going back to playing after finishing the main quest to walk around and finish all remaining quests. There’s a hitch, though. As I am planning to transfer your progress to Act II, I need the game to end at a predetermined point (it wouldn’t work any other way). So the post-main quest gameplay is… well… special, and let’s leave it at that.
Anyway, I’d like to thank everyone who bought the game and especially those who wrote a review. I’ll keep on fixing errors, but there will not be any content patches as I’m moving on to work on Act II. I hope you’ll keep supporting the game and are as excited about what happens next as I am!
