Dear Citizens of the Suzerainverse,
Welcome to our September 2025 Broadcast! We've been busy behind the scenes working towards some big, upcoming milestones, and hard at work shaping what’s next for the Suzerainverse.
In this month’s Broadcast, we’ll revisit the highlights of September, celebrate a standout moment from our community, and share new insights from Torpor’s Ata on what lies ahead.
Development Update from Ata
“Hello everyone,
September has been a fun whirlwind here at Torpor. It felt great to get an updated Switch build out and see all the reactions to the new content and DLC that made it to the platform. We’ve made strong strides on both Project Aperture and Project Fulcrum, and while we’re keeping that momentum going, we’re also taking a moment to put our focus back to Suzerain live for a bit.
We’re currently working on a minor patch aimed at improving stability, fixing bugs, and adding polish. This update will roll out across all platforms in the future when it’s ready. This process really depends on how the work goes, so far it's been at a good speed. After that, we’ll go full speed ahead again on the new projects.
We’re also really happy to share that we’re finally working on bringing Suzerain to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 5 consoles. It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a long time, and it’s exciting to see it finally take shape. With cross-platform compatibility also comes a slower deployment pace, which means more planned patches, more testing, and more robust internal processes to make sure as much as possible runs smoothly before a release.
As always, we’re grateful for everyone who supports our work, sends feedback, or just keeps our games alive through conversation and community. It makes a big difference, and it keeps us going as we continue to build the next things we can’t wait to share.”
Discord Banner Competition Winner
We held a Suzerain Banner Competition on our Discord server, inviting community members to showcase their creativity and knowledge of the Suzerain Universe. After multiple submissions, the community voted on their favourites and one was a standout winner with 57% of the votes..user Okidokie!
Okidokie's winning banner is live on the server for a few more weeks, so do head on over to see it for yourself. We cannot wait to conduct more of these community events activations again in the future.

Interview with Japan's I.N.T. Magazine
After months of anticipation internally, we were delighted to see a long-awaited press feature come to light. Last year at Gamescom in Cologne, Ata took part in an interview with I.N.T. Magazine from Japan, exploring Suzerain and its exploration of politics through the lens of interactive storytelling. The feature was finally published this month, and we couldn't be happier.

Suzerain Live Scores
Last month, we revealed our collaboration with BIMM Berlin and Audio Creatures. An exciting opportunity for emerging composers to see their music performed by a full orchestra. Through this initiative, BIMM students have been tasked with crafting an original theme that embodies the tone and atmosphere of Suzerain: Kingdom of Rizia.
In just a few weeks, we’ll be heading to the legendary Babelsberg Film Studios, where the renowned Filmorchester Babelsberg will bring the winning compositions to life in a live recording session. They’ll also be performing full orchestral versions of both the Suzerain and Rizia themes. We can’t wait to share more with you soon.
A Suzerain Flashback
Back we wrap us this Broadcast, here’s a little flashback to how Suzerain looked back in 2018! It’s incredible to see how much the game has evolved since then, from early concepts and rough builds to the experience you know today. We’ve come a long way, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of the amazing Suzerain community.
