We greatly appreciate all of the great suggestions and bug reports on Discord since the last release, it greatly helped us get this hot-fix release done quickly. Progress continues on the remaining major features for alpha such as angle of release and this patch is mainly a hot-fix for minor bugs.
Patch Changelog:
- Bugfix: added check to prevent starting a hole from the wrong tee
- Bugfix: added check to prevent getting credit for the wrong hole if a disc lands in the wrong basket.
- Bugfix / Enhancement: Landing a disc on top of basket triggers auto tap-in
- Enhancement: Cleaned up more camera work
- Bugfix: Fixed issue where character body mesh was invisible on low graphics settings
- Minor Change: Unlocked camera movement when targeting the next tee or basket using the targeting system.
- Enhancement: Added base air resistance which causes discs to wiggle up and down a bit vertically to give more realistic flight. (WIP) This will be further enhanced with the upcoming wind system.
- Bugfix: With the release of 1.0.74 the score widget had a bug that would show multiple scores when finishing a hole that was a lower par than the next. This bug should be fixed and only the appropriate score designation should pop up. Ace, eagle, etc.
- Bugfix: Ace stat now correctly shows on stats pages
Stay tuned for info about the upcoming UDG competitive game-night where we'll be streaming the game with some players from the community who also stream and hanging out together in one of the Voice channels on Discord. Should be a fun time and we welcome anyone to join even if you don't want to stream.
As always we're available on the UDG Discord for anyone that has suggestions, feedback, or questions.
Happy Holidays from the TREE family to yours!
