Dear players,
The servers of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT will be suspended for maintenance from Jun. 18th, 2025 23:00 (UTC) to Jun. 19th, 2025 04:00 (UTC). We suggest you log out in advance and enter the game again after the maintenance.
The details for this update are as follows:
Brand New Content
I. Brand-new Casual Gameplay: [Blessed Brutality]
New PvP Mode—Blessed Brutality, Now Live!
Team up in pairs for casual competition! Choose Anima Rings, gain blessings, and crush your enemies!
Each defeat reduces your team's morale. When morale hits zero, you're eliminated.
*Dev Note: Reduced the Rage Rate of Justina Gu's Ultimate [Arctic Wraith: Frostwind], Tessa's Ultimate [Enchant] and [Enchant: Group Prey] in the Blessed Brutality mode.
II. Limited-time Event: The Anonymity Game
Strange music echoes through the sealed music hall... Detectives, move out!
Take your heart!
1. During the event, explore the map to find the buried treasure in each area.
2. Players can earn Hearts of Rebellion by entering the event daily and completing exploration quests within the area. Heart of Rebellion is the action item for the event. Hearts of Rebellion will be consumed while exploring.
3. Other than the Completion Reward, each area contains other exploration rewards, so make sure you explore locations beyond the objective.
4. Once the event ends, any remaining Hearts of Rebellion can be exchanged for Spectral Silk at a 1:1 ratio through the event interface.
Event Duration: Jun. 18th, 2025 20:00 (UTC) - Jul. 2nd, 2025 20:00 (UTC)
Claim Rewards Deadline: Jul. 5, 2025 20:00 (UTC)
III. Limited-time Event: Four Banes
Event Duration: Jun. 18th, 2025 20:00 (UTC) - Jun. 28, 2025 20:00 (UTC)
Event Rules: During the event, participate in the new Blessed Brutality mode and complete quests to earn Jade Disks. Exchange Jade Disks for rewards at the Lunar Pavilion.
IV. Limited-time Event: Fresh Start
Event Duration: Jun. 25th, 2025 20:00 (UTC) - Jul. 2nd, 2025 20:00 (UTC)
Event Rules
1. During the event, sign in daily on the event page to claim daily sign-in rewards. You can sign in up to 7 times total. You can earn milestone rewards after signing in for a total of 3 days and 7 days.
2. If you miss a daily sign-in during the event, you can make it up the following day when you log in. Make-up is not available after the event ends.
3. Player sign-ins also contribute to the server progress. Once the server goal is reached, all players who log in after July 3rd, 2025 at 01:00 (UTC) can claim a special bonus reward. Any player who logs in during the entire anniversary event period is eligible to claim this reward.
Hero Adjustments
I. Lannie
The following adjustments have been made to skill [Vanishing Act: Lift]:
1. The carpet during flight and when exiting flight can now interrupt enemies' Golden Focus Strikes.
2. Increased skill CD from 22 sec to 23 sec.
The following adjustments have been made to the Ultimate [Tricky Bounce]:
1. During her Ultimate, if Lannie takes cumulative damage reaching the threshold, the Ultimate will be forcibly ended.
2. Lannie can interrupt Golden Focus Strikes while using her Skill to fly.
3. Trick Ball explosion damage reduced from 3.3 to 3.2.
4. Optimized visual effects for certain Gestures.
The following adjustments have been made to Ultimate [Tricky Bounce: Leap]:
1. Health restored when Trick Balls return or are successfully caught reduced from 200 to 150.
2. Reduced maximum flight distance when charged Trick Balls miss environmental targets.
3. Reduced knockback height while increased the knockback range from Trick Ball explosions.
4. Increased startup frames after successful Trick Ball catch before striking.
5. Optimized visual effects for certain Gestures.
//Dev Notes: Lannie's survivability and combo potential were too dominant in the current meta, so we've raised the requirement for her combos while reducing her recovery capabilities.
II. Akos Hu
Adjusted the Defensive Focus of the 3rd [Pounce] when casting to Golden Skill Focus.
III. Temulch
When casting his Ultimate, Temulch will immediately face the aimed direction.
IV. Hadi
1. While Hadi is flying with his Ultimate, his 3rd-stage charged attacks can now be blocked by countering. A player who blocks an attack this way will not be able to trigger Counterstrike Combos as a follow-up.
//Dev Notes: As it stands, when Hadi's attacks are blocked, both sides become Golden Focused and act as though they clashed. Other rules follow clash mechanics: equal stagger time with no counterstrikes possible, both sides take minor clash damage, and Fans/Daggers can still trigger Soulbreak off of horizontal strikes.
2. When flying with his Ultimate, Hadi recovers Health or Armor equal to 20% of damage dealt with his 3rd-stage charged attacks.
3. When casting an Ultimate (either [Aerial Ascent] or [Aerial Ascent: Blaze]), Hadi recovers 200 Health (excess converts to Armor).
V. Matari
Slightly reduced the thrust distance of skill [Flash: Thrust] when charged, and slightly reduced the AoE of the strike when charged.
VI. Other Adjustments
Fixed issues where certain Ultimate visual effects didn't match actual effects in high latency and network fluctuation scenarios (such as Yueshan's Ultimate activation).
Weapon Adjustments
I. Flying Knives
1. Appropriately increased recovery frames for the Charged Vertical Strike [Rapid Throw] and the Charged Vertical Strike Souljade [Palm Lightning].
2. Reduced the damage multiplier of the 1st stage Charged Horizontal Strikes [Sunder The Stars] from 4.22 to 3.94.
3. Reduced the damage multiplier of the 2nd stage Charged Horizontal Strikes [Rend The Moon] from 3.47+2.08 to 3.24+1.94.
4. Reduced the stagger inflicted by 1st stage Vertical Strikes on targets that are on the ground.
5. Reduced the stagger inflicted by Vertical Strikes on targets that are in mid-air, and increased the number of recovery frames.
6. Appropriately reduced the AoE of 2nd stage Horizontal Strikes.
//Dev Notes: Flying Knives were too dominant against other weapons currently, so we've increased vulnerability windows while reducing damage output to improve counterplay options.
Souljade Adjustments
I. Buff Souljade
[Focus Slide] returns with the following adjustments:
1. Increased startup frames and can now be countered.
2. Increased the damage multiplier from 1 to 1.52.
In-Game Adjustments
I. Feature Optimizations
New feature Smart Swap: Enable in Settings > Assist to automatically display the smart swap interface when better armor or weapons are within pickup range. Press the swap key to equip the recommended gear.
II. Mechanism Adjustments
Realm of Spirit adjustments: During the Realm of Spirit registration period, you can open the Realm of Spirit interface from the spectator interface to register. Realm of Spirit begins when enough participants join.
III. Immortal War Adjustments
1. After the 6th wave of Shadow Corruption ends, Kylin Zhang's [Qilin Guard] no longer blocks Health loss from the Shadow Corruption.
2. After the 6th wave of Shadow Corruption ends, the damage from Shadow Corruption now ignores Valda Cui's and Cyra's light shields, directly reducing their Health.
Out-of-Game Adjustments
I. Team Up
Team Up now includes team blocking. A team with players you blocked won't be recommended to you, and the system will gradually reduce recommendations for such players' teams.
II. Lobby Music
Added Persona 5 Royal crossover music "Life Will Change" to the lobby playlist. Enjoy!
Showdown Adjustments
I. Combat Adjustments
1. Potential [Incorporeal] now allows ranged weapons to chain dodge before follow-up attacks after successful counters.
2. Potential [Element Fury] gains 15% Poison Blast damage bonus. Potential [Element Afterglow] gains 20% Divine Thunder damage bonus.
3. Increased the total additional strike multiplier of Souljades [Thunder Shot], [Ice Bomb], [Toxic Shot] to 3.5, removing the "increased elemental accumulation on monsters" effect.
4. Increased the Attack bonus of Poison Blast Souljade [Element Surge] from 10% to 12%, Divine Thunder damage bonus from 40% to 55%. And removed the 20% Burn damage debuff. Poison-wielding Souljade [Element Surge] gains 25% Poison Blast damage bonus.
5. The trigger condition for the Souljade [Thunder Chain] is changed from "After every 6 instances of Divine Thunder damage dealt" to "5 instances".
6. Advanced the timing of Golden Focus runes during [Huanyue]'s ring sword energy attacks in phase one, and adjusted the hitstun and knockback parameters to reduce the possibility of being hit consecutively by both strikes.
7. Reduced the damage of certain sword energy moves during [Huanyue]'s 1st stage and adjusted the damage of different backward moves for consistency.
8. Adjusted [Huanyue] AI for both phases, reducing frequency of certain attack combos and making attack patterns better match her combat range.
9. Optimized facial expressions during [Huanyue]'s execution attacks in phase two, and adjusted timing of strikes for better visual coherence.
10. Reduced the damage taken when hit by multiple projectiles from the [Astral Deer Sorcerer]'s moves.
II. Stage Adjustments
1. Nirriti's Ruins Adjustments
(1) Optimized portal and Nirriti Codex spawn locations across all stages.
(2) Added a map marker in [Rolling in Riches] to guide you to the portal after clearing the stage.
(3) Enhanced the audio effects played when portals to special stages unlocked by Nirriti Codices appear.
III. Yama's Abyss Adjustments
Quick restart or advancing to the next stage in Yama's Abyss now resets Deadeye mode and any Deadeye buildup.
IV. Feature Adjustments
1. Starting now, log into Showdown weekly to claim Chaos Stone*10 through login quests to boost Curio crafting levels.
Crafting levels will carry forward permanently to help with your future Tempered Inferno progression!
Even with maxed crafting levels, you can complete weekly Curio crafting quests to claim 10 Souljade Fragments.
2. Fixed an issue where maxed Souljade attributes were not displayed as maxed in ratings.
3. Optimized Souljade recommendation logic to prioritize higher-rated Souljades.
4. Optimized the layout of modes in Showdown map interface.
5. Added new recast material "Small Souljade Fragment" to replace some Rare Souljade drops in Normal+ difficulty main stages and Nirriti's Ruins.
//Dev Notes: Without Souljade upgrades, excess Rare Souljades were being converted to Epic/Legendary and then deconstructed, which is tedious. We've removed some Rare drops and replaced them with recast materials while reducing Small Souljade Fragment costs compared to Rare Souljades in recasting.
Settings
I. New Notification Settings
Added a feature in Settings > Gameplay > Settings: "Red dot notifications for new cosmetics"
When enabled, receive a red dot notification when new cosmetic items are obtained for heroes, weapons, or other gear.
When switching to [Legendary or higher] or [Extreme or higher], notifications for items below required rarity will be turned off, and existing notifications for those items will be cleared.
Feature Optimizations
I. Client
Increased custom face slot limit per hero from 6 to 10.
