Since all of Shinji’s attacks can inflict Confuse and Weaken, if you can inflict a status ailment, you can Confuse the enemy while dealing even greater damage.
The skill "Increased Status Ailment Chance Against Soul Reapers" makes it easier for Shinji to inflict status ailments on Soul Reapers, and once a status ailment has been inflicted, the combination of his Soul Trait "Status Ailment Spiritual Pressure Boost +40%" and skill "Status Ailment Spiritual Pressure Boost +80%" can increase his Spiritual Pressure by a total of 120%.
Plus, due to possessing the high-effect skill "Damage to Confused Enemies +60%", combined with the damage increase of Weaken, Shinji can deal massive damage to enemies he has inflicted with status ailments.
With the powerful "Squad Zero Killer+", Shinji can excel in Guild Quests with Squad Zero Killer and Increased Ranged Damage rules.

With the Soul Trait "Damage taken -21%" and the Innate Skill "Decreased Hollow Damage Taken (-20%)", he especially demonstrates his resilience in quests against Hollow enemies. With the skill "Poise," he can batter enemies without being staggered.
Kensei possesses a Boost on his second strong attack, and with the skills "Booster" and "Enhancer", he can greatly improve his own and his allies stats giving the whole team high destructive output and staying power.
He also has many skills that enhance his abilities in Guild Quests, such as "Flurry in Guild Quests +2", "Melee Damage in Guild Quests +30%", and "Increased Killer Effect in Guild Quests +50%". This means that he performs well when used as an auto-controlled character in Guild Quests with the Hollow Killer and Increased Melee Damage rules.
