Before we get started, let’s address the elephants in the room:
1. Moncage is set to release by the end of this year; official launch date will be announced soon.
2. Moncage will be available to purchase on Steam, App Store, Google Play and TapTap.
Now, the fun stuff:
Upon completion of content development, we immediately launched into post-production and have already made quite some progress, particularly in visual optimization.
As you can see in the comparison below, we’ve made significant upgrades since the demo build with added focus blur, new text glow, and enhanced volumetric lighting, etc., all for a more immersive gameplay experience.

In addition to the lighting changes from external sources, we went over each and every scene from within the cube and made visual adjustments to the environments, exposure, and color saturation, etc. In the example below, the skies and overall settings have been modified in accordance with the particular scene.

For indoor scenes, we focused on adding visual elements such as windows, picture frames, and stickers for them to look even more elaborate and reflect the overarching storyline.

This visual optimization has been an ongoing process and we are currently working to enhance the lighting effects even more - can you spot the difference(s) in the latest screenshot below?

We really couldn’t be more grateful for your patience! We promise that the wait is going to be worth it and that Moncage, at official launch, will be presented to you in its absolute best form~
