Hello everyone!
It's been roughly 2 months since the end of our closed beta, and all of the feedback our testers have provided has been incredibly valuable. It has also got us thinking about how we want to tackle the release of Star Dynasties. As you all know, 2021 has been our release goal, and it will definitely remain that way, so no worries!
What we have decided on, is that Early Access seems like the best course of action for Star Dynasties, because it will allow us to get a constant stream of feedback from all of you. Instead of fully releasing into the ether and hoping for the best, we'll be able to tinker on the game together, thus making the final product more polished!
Exciting! When, where, how, what?!
It is exciting! The whens and whats will be revealed at a slightly later date, this is the announcement of an announcement, after all. The process we're envisioning for Early Access is that there will be 3 major updates that will add planned features (to be revealed at a later date), with plenty of smaller updates based on your feedback.
We understand that Early Access isn't for everyone, but rest assured that Star Dynasties' Early Access process will be slightly different. The game is nearly complete. We're going to use Early Access to add the finishing touches, and we want you to contribute to that!
We're still gearing up for a full blown announcement, with all the bells and whistles you would expect (a trailer, new art, etc.) -- we just wanted to let you all know what we're up to behind the scenes, and that more news is coming soon™
