No specific update relating to Star Dynasties just yet, but we do have some other exciting news! Our very own Glen Pawley is going to be joining other talented game developers on a digital panel at LudoNarraCon.
The panel in question is titled Emergent Vs. Traditional Game Narratives, in which we explore the contrasting relation between emergent and traditional narrative, between player agency and authorship. And what it means from a philosophical, emotional, human but also technical point of view. To boil it down to the basics: in traditional narrative, a game's author has full control, but in emergent narrative, the author's control is limited -- that's what we're going to be talking about!
