Hi Guys. After trying demo of at the last Steam Next Fest, we got a lot of questions from players worldwide. We were so inspired by your concern. We picked some important questions and invited the producer-Mr. Chicken to talk about the awesome backstory of .
Who is Mr. Chicken?
A funny and powerful man always puts on airs. Of course not. Lol
He has developed the mobile game which got TOP 1 in free lists of App Store, TapTap and other platforms. Now, he is the producer of which got two IndiePrize awards.
Q: What is the inspiration for making ?
Mr. Chicken: After our generation of game became popular, we found some people may prefer PartyGame which are happy and relaxed. Especially players performance, when they are in the chaotic game, there has a strong comedic effect. Even simple gameplay can make players happy, so we decided to integrate this gameplay with physical effects which allow players to cheat each other in a destructible scene. Meanwhile, I think we have lots of good ideas of PartyGame because experience, so my team and I made the Demo of .
Q: Which part is the best for you?
Mr. Chicken: This question is a little bit difficult. As the game’s “father”, it is really hard to say. The physical characteristics, various props and even some small ideas for levels are my favorite parts. But the most noteworthy part is the map&editor.
Q: So, what are the advantages of maps?
Mr. Chicken: One is quantity, another is quality. has many maps including 120 official maps and 90 community maps. We have different ideas with every single map. The maps of are not simple brawl platforms but the different gameplay. For example, some maps are about parkour, players can throw sticky time bombs with strong sense of reversal and feeling of parkour. Some maps have shooting elements which can give players exciting shooting experience. In addition, thanks to in-game creative workshop, there are many excellent community maps from players during the test time.
Q: Did you try to make map? Do you remember what the first map you created was like?
Mr. Chicken: Sure. The first map I made should be a pyramid with brawl mode gameplay. This gameplay was debugged for a long time and I tried many times. It was based on a generation plus some prop combinations which mainly need to throw bombs and dodge bombs, as well as terrain destruction, shoot fly, flying. And worth pointing out, we use this map as foundation to make demo which got IndiePrize awards. You want to know which maps I made？Just guess!

Q: Is this part of the core gameplay of maps with a large number of traps?
Mr. Chicken: Wow! You observe very carefully. Yes, all traps in maps are carefully designed. We hope players can use combination of bombs, traps, and props to make different gameplay and play wonderful combo operations. For example, there is a map with a sloping ice surface and a pickable freeze gun. Players can freeze enemies into ice cubes and make them slide down. There are many such examples, and we look forward to seeing more exciting operations after launch.
Q: The map editor you just mentioned, can you introduce it to players?
Mr. Chicken: We believe the most vibrant inspiration and gameplay always germinate from players, so we want to make a simple and easy-to-use map editor which allows all players to achieve inspiration. We’ve seen players have a lot of imagination in our previous tests including “middle door to sniper” which is really great player-created map and get good reviews. And we look forward to playing your maps in the future!
Q: What impressed you the most during the R&D process?
Mr. Chicken: Well. The most impressive thing for me is the maps in game are all verified by our laughter. In fact, hundreds of maps are difficult to complete by one person, so all members of our team joined in creating maps for a while. We agreed to play our respective maps together at 5pm every day. Everyone has our own ideas and creativity. The map with the most fun and laughing will be selected by us into the final map library. It was a really memorable day for me, and I hope these maps can also be enjoyed by players.
Q: Ok. The last question which many players are concerned about: when will it launch?
Mr. Chicken: We are working hard on it. My idea is to make players can play with friends before February.ːsteamfacepalmː。
Q: If players can’t play on time, are you ready to cos JK again as before?
Mr. Chicken: Hey! You just said that was the last question! I need to go. If players have more questions, I can talk with you next time. Every player is important to us.❤”
