Hello everyone!
The launch of our Early Access sure has been an eventful occasion and we’ve learned a lot about the wishes of our community. In our previous post, we mentioned that we’ll share a roadmap with you that shows us what we’re working on and now we’re delivering on that promise.
October Plans
As we’re sure that you’ll know, the first few weeks after the launch of a game (even one in Early Access) is a very important time, the community gets their first impressions and will have a lot of feedback. With that in mind, it should be no surprise that our plans for the rest of this month, our focus is on Quality of Life improvements.
Based on your feedback so far, we are committing ourselves to the following updates by the end of October:
1. Reducing the starting zombies from two to one.
2. Adding a bed to the starting house
3. Adding a delay to the zombie spawns - and also preventing them from appearing until the player has seen all of the tips.
4. Creating a special in-game Bug Report and Feedback option.
5. Working on other technical issues that you may have encountered.
What’s more, at this stage we can see that you have already sent us a lot of bug reports and suggestions. We know how important it is to fix the most painful of the bugs in the game, so work on fixing these has already started.
We will give you a full list of fixes by Tuesday, 27th of October, so be sure to tune in on that day to find out what we’ll fix first.
November
As November is close, we’ve already penned in quite a bit that we are committing to improve/bring to the game, they are:
- As has been pointed out to us the UI needs some improvement, and so we will be listening to the suggestions that you have brought forward (and we’re sure that you will continue to bring forward) and design something perfect for Zelter.
- The Save Game feature will be properly fixed.
- The AI for the NPCs will receive a much-needed update
- And of course, at least one new feature, a special weapon ‘the bomb’ will be added!
Beyond this, we are sure that there will be numerous minor updates and hotfixes during November so we’ll keep the game nice and shiny as well!
December and Onwards
Beyond November (December, January, and more) we will be looking to work on larger feature sets, focusing on adding big new content to the game and redesigning what we have already.
At this stage, we can’t go into micro details as these are large features, but we are happy to tell you what will be coming in.
Please note that these several parts will be added over the course of a few months, but once you see how it will work in our game, we’re sure that you will be very happy!
Part 1: A full redesign of the Random Map System and proper implementation of the Mission system.
Part 2: Implementing the Housing system.
Part 3: New Farming Item & system
Part 4: Precision workbench & new items
Part 5: Vehicle system
Part 6: Pet system

A word on the Chinese Translations
Before diving into the core features/fixes for the game, we want to directly address the issue of localization. We have heard your reports that our Chinese language has been subpar with far too many mistakes and for that, we humbly apologize to you. We are doing a full review of the text and will fix anything and everything that needs to be fixed.
Other languages
Naturally, we have not forgotten about our other languages, so we will be refining the localisations for them as well.
_____________
This brings us to the end of our roadmap, we hope that you are happy to see our vision of the future for Zelter. As always, please keep posting your feedback in the Steam discussion boards, or join us on Discord and let us know what you think there!
