We have noticed that some players have difficulty fending off zombies in their shelter. And today, we would like to give you some tips and tricks on how to defeat zombies when they invade your shelter. Let's fight them back!
Place Barricades and Blade Traps on the entrance of the shelter
One of the best ways to inflict damage to zombies on the territory of the shelter will be Barricades and Blade Traps. They will be especially useful if you place them in a chequered fashion at the fence. Just imagine, zombies run at the character and take damage from them, and the character just runs away from zombies and does not take damage.
Barricades can be crafted by 10 Wooden Planks and 4 Screws on General Workbench. As for Blade Traps, they are more expensive than barricades and inflict more damage. They can be crafted by 16 Wooden Planks and 2 Blades on General Workbench.
Light up your house at night
A night for zombies becomes the most bloodthirsty time because they can easily overtake the character when he doesn’t see them. We recommend you use Stand Torches or Bonfires near your shelter so that you can more easily see and shoot zombies at night.
A Bonfire can be crafted by 2 Wooden Planks and 2 Stones on General Workbench. Also, a Stand Torch can be crafted by 2 Iron Ingots, 2 Wooden Planks, and 3 Screws on General Workbench.
Wear Bulletproof Clothing
Such clothing adds health and allows the character to fight longer against zombies.
It can be crafted using Cloth, Plastic, and Iron Ingot at Sewing Station. More information about clothing and customization can be found here.
Open the doors if you sleep at the house
It might sound strange, but it is true. During the day or night, keep your door open so random hordes don't come and knock down the door. Leave the doors open while you sleep, because zombies can break the doors down (the feature of door repairing will appear in the future).
