2020 has come to an end, and now it's time to conclude this year.
We'll begin from the start. In January 2020, we released a big and important update for Bus Driver Simulator, which allowed you to create your own routes. Some time after such an update is released, we are wondering how we could live without that feature before.
In a couple of months after that, one of the most popular city buses was released.
We still were supporting Bus Driver Simulator, but, after making sure that there are no critical bugs in the game, finally transferred our forces to Bus World.
We've done a lot while developing Bus World, which is an ambitious project, but we still got to do, at minimal, the same amount of work. When we finally finished with constantly updating our previous game, we finally were able to learn more about new technologies which will make our game better. One of them is High Definition Rendering Pipeline, which allows the lighting, materials and other things in the game to be a lot more realistic. Of course, transition to HDRP was not east - we needed at least a month to do that. However, it was worth it: volumetric fog, correct lighting behavior, no strange flickering and other artifacts, and graphics quality became much better.
We're glad to bring some new things to this genre: probably, there is no game about breakdowns and disasters like Bus World.
You constantly ask us when the game will be released, but we still got a lot of work to do, so we won't announce it now as we don't want to accidentally lie to you.
We made a lot inside our team. This organizational work is invisible for you, players, but it is very important to help us become more professional. We're still a small studio, but we're working on large games - and we have to constantly work on team management to make it possible. The main thing is that even now we can see the result of these changes.
And, of course, Murom Suburbs - we managed to launch the biggest DLC for Bus Driver Simulator ever in 2020. Even though we said that there won't be a lot of changes in the game, we implemented some things about traffic and navigation from Bus World, and we hope you liked them. The work on Bus World has been slightly slowed down due to the same people working on Bus Driver Simulator and Bus World. But, in the next year, after we finish with Murom Suburbs, we'll transfer our forces to Bus World again.
Finally, we express special thanks to our players. We know that most of you are with us for several years. Your support is crucial in this business. We will do our best to make sure you enjoy our future projects - we have a lot of plans!
Our team congratulates you with coming New 2021 Year!
