PATCH NOTES [23.12.2025] - Hellforged Shields & Trinity Concord
🚨 Restart your game so every asset, script, and balance pass is loaded! 🚨
Alright... this one is a big one. We touched tons of systems, paved new progression, and want to be transparent about future plans (and mistakes). Grab a drink and take your time with this read. ❤️
🗺️ Map & World Changes
🏞️ Map 18 - Spawn Fixes & New Monsters
All the buggy, overlapping spawns that slipped in after the visual overhaul have been rebuilt from scratch.
Fresh monsters now roam Map 18 - not just for variety, but to support the Hellforged shield path below.
Please give the new placement 2-7 days before calling it cursed; even internally we needed time to vibe with it. 😅
Send us feedback so we can keep polishing.
🛡️ New Progression - Hellforged PvP Shields
🔥 Hellforged PvP Shields (New Set)
Level 65 PvP shields can now be transformed into Hellforged versions.
Every upgrade raises the level requirement. That's intentional and keeps the power fantasy tied to character growth.
📜 Unified Shield Blueprint
One blueprint now handles both the new Hellforged shields and the old ones.
You can upgrade shields directly through the blueprint - just like every other Hellforged item. Risky! Better to do it at the smith.
⚠️ WARNING - Risky Transformation
This upgrade is expensive and can straight-up destroy your shield.
If it breaks, every gem or enchant slotted into it goes with it.
Please think twice before gambling your favorite shield on day one.
🔥 Important Statement - Hellforged Item Scaling (Future)
Letting players run fully upgraded Hellforged gear at Level 80 was our mistake. It fed Fireland farmers and removed incentives to play content like the Forgotten Dunes.
Existing Hellforged items will scale their level requirements upward.
This will not happen without warning. We'll give you plenty of time to level before anything flips.
These new shields are the first brick in that healthier progression path.
⚔️ New Bosses & Events
🐍 Forgotten Dunes - New Boss
A snake-like boss now stalks the dunes.
It can drop the Shield Blueprint with the same chance logic as other bosses.
🌌 Trinity Concord Blessing (New Event)
The Trinity Concord Warden spawns in the Deadland as a global world event.
Defeat it and every Empire gains up to 24 hours of buffs: +35% Gold, +35% EXP, +35% Drop Rate, pets +50% EXP, Christmas Presents +25% drop chance (just for Christmas), and +25% HP. 💪
It isn't perfectly balanced yet on purpose - we want a fight that demands a huge squad, zero solo cheese, and a true community reward.
Think of it like an "Inferna Birthday Boost" that might visit more than once per year. 🎉
💥 Double Rift Loot (New Event)
This event doubles each Rift's loot table, so you can potentially roll twice per run.
The second table is still chance-based, so your normal drop chance affects how efficient Double Rift Loot feels.
🔥 Update - Flame Keeper's Artifact Changes
More flames. More loot. More chaos.
You can now ignite up to 5 maps simultaneously. If multiple players activate artifacts, multiple maps burn together.
Each burning map grants +25% Bonus EXP, +25% Drop Chance, and +25% Gold to all players for 1 hour.
🗺️ New Feature - Burning Map Tracker
Check Quest Tracking to see:
Which maps are currently ablaze with power.
How long each effect will last with a real-time countdown.
🔥 Grab your artifact. Ignite the battlefield. Rule the flames.
💀 World Boss Adjustments
Standing around with 8 players for nearly an hour? 🤢 Yeah, we felt that too - so we're making changes.
🛠️ What's Changing
World Boss HP drastically reduced in Fireland and Forgotten Dunes.
To balance it, bosses will now regenerate health rapidly over time.
⚔️ What This Means
Solo or low-DPS groups will not be able to out-damage the regen.
Groups of 4-8 or more can bring the boss down in a short fight, not an hour-long snoozefest.
✅ The goal: faster, more engaging boss fights without turning it into a solo farm.
🌪️ Monster & Combat Fixes
Volcrats were zooming around like they stole your lunch; their movement is now normal.
We also fixed some character walk animations that looked like a duck parade. 🦆 Hope it looks way better now. ^^
We cut down the number of Dune archers (personal veto, sorry not sorry). Want more ranged enemies or Rift-exclusive archers? Tell us!
Ranged monsters in the dunes keep low HP by design, but feedback is always welcome.
Auto potions now stay active when you die against monsters. Pure quality of life. 🧪
🔮 Rifts - Rewards (Upcoming)
Higher-tier rifts don't pay out enough for the time they demand. We're working on better drop scaling so climbing tiers feels juicy. Hang tight for a future patch.
🏆 Rankings & Competition (Upcoming)
Daily rankings, weekend rankings, and fresh categories are on the roadmap.
More leaderboards = more flexing, more rivalries, more goals. 😎
🐾 PvP Pet (Upcoming)
A PvP-focused pet egg is in development with a much lower drop rate than its PvM buddy.
A pity system will make sure powerlevel never goes backwards - it only stays the same or improves.
💎 Future Systems (In Discussion)
New PvP & PvM jewelry concepts are cooking; tell us which stats or set bonuses you'd love.
We're also debating new gems, more Soulquarz options, and extra PvP gear bonuses.
⛏️ Professions - Y'all Are Insane (Upcoming)
Some of you already hit end-level professions. That was fast. Respect. 🫡
We're adjusting high-level profession unlocks so the climb feels right.
Missing recipes are being added so mastery actually means something.
Also - are you miners or farmers IRL? The efficiency numbers are unreal.
❤️ Final Words
Christmas is coming 🎄 which means more time for us to ship updates and more moments for you to enjoy Inferna. If anything looks buggy, strange, or unintended, just ask us. Your feedback matters more than you think.
