Caria is strong enough to shake off the Persian yoke, but is it daring enough to try?
Tester’s tips
Caria is in an interesting starting position as a confederacy of the Achaemenid Empire. It is a large state with important cities and an open way to the whole Aegean region, but it needs to improve its infrastructure first – roads, blacksmiths, city improvements.
It is really important to find the right moment to break ties with Persia. Conquest of Anatole is a big task, and it is good to choose one of the other Persian provinces as an ally to keep your back covered. Don’t forget that Caria is also exposed from the sea and the Greeks will not think twice if they see an opportunity for reestablishing their presence in Anatole.
