Ice storm be darned, the development team at RigidBody Tech has achieved an implementation of Stats and Achievements both in game and synched with Steam's Player Community portal. Effort supported by a 40 count set of achievement icons by PlayMex Studios. President Chris Kearns quipped, "The effort was held up when it became readily apparent that Steam's sliding window "blending" algorithm does just that, "blends" as opposed to what Quantum Runners' demands - the accurate to 6 decimal points Race Results stats retaining all elements of the sliding window, dropping the oldest, adding the newest, averaging and finally returning that average. "No matter", continued Kearns, "we came up with our own algorithm and modeled it with just the basic set up on the "Steam db Server".
While testing continues over the next few days, we now turn our attention to Steam Leaderboards, and the hurdle of ensuring parallel data encryption / security in order to enable race contests with cash prizes!
Long live Terra!
