Rebound v0.37.0 is live
Note: Live build and staging still use different physics values so you can test this version with both.
If you'd like to test any other physics values on staging, please coordinate with your region's admins/community managers.
Gameplay
- Added a dizziness meter. I know we said we likely wouldn't add this but it has proven to be necessary to avoid annoying spammy gameplay.
We can very very easily adjust everything about this meter. The goal is that it never interferes with normal gameplay.
- Various elements of the stick have received more fixes, this may result in different physics behavior. We'll work on tweaking the physics on the go.
UI
- Added indicators for when you have your first and second dash
- Added icons to the dash and dizziness meters
Cosmetics
- Added a new jersey with the Slapshot emblem
- Added new hats: Antlers, beanie, cap, octopus, pumpkin beanie, pumpkin head, unicorn
- Added new glasses: 3D glasses
- Added new gloves: Boxing gloves, skeleton hands
- Added new mouth items: Mouthpiece, pacifier, popsicle
Fixes
- Online framerate will appear less choppy, a 'Network Update Smoothness' slider in the settings allows you to control this (100% by default)
- Controller buttons can be rebound now without it exiting (it does happens sometimes but way less often)
- Preview reset now removes eyewear
- You can now unequip face decals without a client restart
- Fixed stick tap
- Stick no longer accidentally lifts over the puck (please lmk if this does happens again, try to clip it)
- Controllers can now navigate popup messages
- Controller glyph for custom games is no longer greyed out even though the button is available
