Hello detectives,
As we teased last week, August 28th and the GamesRadar+ Future Games Show would be bringing some pretty big news for Chinatown Detective Agency...
...and you know, it really did.
If you missed our big announcement, that's absolutely okay, we'll recap it for you now:
We announced Chinatown Detective Agency: Day One, the three-case prologue of 2021's full detective experience, coming to you on September 30th for FREE on Steam, right here:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1401920/Chinatown_Detective_Agency_Day_One/
That's right, on September 30th (that's just a month away!), you'll be able to play three substantial, polished cases that will see you step into the shoes of tough-talking, no-nonsense Private Investigator Amira Darma as she begins her globe-trotting, conspiracy-fuelled adventure in a world on the brink in 2032.
Check out the brand new trailer for Chinatown Detective Agency: Day One:
Amira’s journey begins in Singapore as her first client walks through the doors of the Chinatown Detective Agency...but that’s just the start. Over the course of Day One's three substantial cases, you’ll uncover the beginnings of a global conspiracy, meet the cast of uniquely voiced characters, use real-world research and investigation to solve mysteries, manage your detective agency, and explore stunningly rendered, neon-drenched pixel art locales.
Day One is the genesis of Chinatown Detective Agency; the ambitious, vast, and unique full experience landing in 2021 on PC and Mac. Get acquainted with Amira Darma, learn what it takes to keep the agency afloat, and try to survive taking your first steps in the rich, broken cybernoir future of Chinatown Detective Agency: Day One.
Now, this is where we need your help. If you are excited for Chinatown Detective Agency, or even just a little bit intrigued, it'd mean the world to us if you could Wishlist Chinatown Detective Agency: Day One today (that blue button just below!), and download and play it for FREE on September 30th. We're going to need your help, and all of the sharing you can muster, to get our game into as many hands as possible.

Look after each other,
The General Interactive team.
