Hello there,
For the last few weeks I was really busy with an attempt to add a online multiplayer to Card Hog. It wasn't even in my immediate plans for the game, but I didn't like how coop modes are limited with local/Remote Play Together and wanted to see how hard it would be to do online thing. Pretty hard apparently, but...
Online Multiplayer Test
The fact that Card Hog does have multiplayer might come as a surprise to many, because of how well hidden those modes are. But now there's one more item in that list called "COOP LOBBY"! Not sure if there would be any demand for public lobbies, but at the moment it's friends-only, so there's an added challenge to find someone that also owns the game.
Start the lobby, invite a friend, try to survive for as long as you can, leave me some feedback on how did it go!
Major Changes
- Online COOP (WIP)
- New elite enemy: Vampire
- New language: Portuguese (Brazil)
- New language: German
Other Changes
- Improved the animation rush for faster players
- Fixed card particles appearing in wrong places
- Fixed a soft lock which happened when using certain skills on the main character
- Fixed a crash when mind-controlled enemy opens up a chest
- Fixed a glitch where character was dropping dead without hands
- Tweaked death sound (lowered volume)
- Multiple smaller fixes and tweaks
Android Release
If you'd like to have Card Hog closer to you at all times, I recently launched the Android version (F2P) with iOS (premium) coming out soon. Swiping around the dungeons might help with occasional boredom!

A more content-focused update is coming up next week! I'm working on a new boss enemy and trying to finish another playable hog.
Thank you for your support and feedback!
Cheers!
