Time transitions between exercises have now been added. This was the most requested improvement to the game/app by many players. Thank you to all players for feedback on this and making me aware of the need for this.
* A green 'Transition' bar now shows between exercises allowing players to move to the next exercise without losing workout time.
* Transition time in seconds is customisable in the Settings menu where you can pick 2 to 10 seconds, the default is 4 seconds, so if this is changed your preferences will be saved.
* Workouts will actually now run slightly over real life time because the workout time in the game is paused between each exercise. An hour exercise will end up an hour and a few minutes in real life time.
* Sprite stability has been vastly improved and will be especially noticeable if viewing in full screen that the avatar/sprite will be less prone to slight flickering that occurred at times in previous builds. It is now a lot smoother.
In a planned 3D version for the future I will make transitions between each exercise animated, as in the avatar will step back to centre, then actually move into the next position, but this would be almost impossible for the current 2.5D version.
I will now focus on the second most requested addition to the game for update 2.0, which is adding avatar/sprite speed control, as I understand that some players like to exercise at the same speed as the avatar/sprite.
I will also do update patches for player Luke Puke and astron82's ideas of making it clearer how long it takes to unlock each location and a progress bar up.
A few players, as well as Luke Puke just recently, have requested a configuration to turn off all jumping exercises, for people who don't want to disturb their neighbours below. I will get onto this as well and release a patch in the near future to enable this.
I appreciate every player suggestion and idea. I will continue to list every player idea, prioritise each idea, then work through implementing them in updates systematically.
It is so much fun working with players to try to make the game how they expect it to be,
Cheers,
Kevin :)
