We figured that’s a good moment to give some insights into what we are working on right now for the upcoming updates to Food Truck Simulator.
One major area is Usability where we are adding fully customisable Keybindings like we have in Gas Station Simulator or adding Difficulty Settings that will among other things influence how much time you have to complete tasks. This has been a vocal request from the community and we decided that rather tweaking them and make some players happy while others would complain, we go the difficulty setting route.
Another big area are improvements to existing game mechanics and gameplay. Multiple improvements to the mini-games, handling the Tray, improvements to Cutting or Assembling Recipes. We are also working on more general improvements like Manual Saves or Inventory Management.
Optimization of the game’s performance is another big area we are working on and we aren’t forgetting lots of bug fixes either. We are making good progress here.
Improving things however is not all we are working on. There will be some new features as well, like being able to start in a Free Roam Mode and skipping most of the story and tutorials or the often requested ability to Prepare Ingredients in the garage before heading out.
Those are the highlights of what to expect from the upcoming two updates to the game. We expect to be able to release the first update towards the end of the months with the second update following a couple of weeks later.
