We are very happy with the reception of Food Truck Simulator’s demo during the recent Steam festival. Tons of downloads, loads of surveys and overall Food Truck Simulator’s stats during the festival did beat what we had on Gas Station back then when we released its demo. And FTS did beat those by quite a bit.
For us as developers that is quite a big deal. It shows us the game is really popular and the surveys and especially the comments in those allow us to make some choices we were uncertain about before. So that will keep the Food Truck team busy for a while.

Called “Can Touch This”, the DLC deals with a wide range of new and exciting customization options for the gas station, workshop and warehouse.
Customizing walls and roofs, changing the placement of windows, doors, trashcans or cash register are rounded up with decals you can spray anywhere on your gas station, more interior & exterior decorations and also more levels and employees! And all that already in May at just $2.99 :)
The reason we write about the DLC here is not only to let you know, but what we did for this DLC will actually become very relevant to Food Truck Simulator. We will actually grab some of the things the team developed for the DLC and use them in Food Truck Simulator to open up a bit more customization options than we initially intended and that without having to spend a lot of time on it :)
