Hello Taxi Drivers!
We promised to come back with a new update in a while, so: HERE WE ARE! 🚖🚖🚖
Last time you said you lack a bit of a mess in our New York City. That these streets are so little New York - no advertisements on the buildings, which makes it too... clean. Don't worry, we are finishing work on the buildings for now. Fact - they require the greatest commitment.
Of course, the ads are also important and are being developed in the meantime. Today, a few examples that will soon hang on the streets of New York in Taxi Simulator.
As you can see, there is a lot of it!
We also promised you some information about the
gameplay
itself... We feel stupid to write about something we are still working on, but we understand that you would like to know what to expect 😉
If you thought that you would be driving in Manhattan with impunity like madmen 🏎, then… NO 🛑
We are working on a police mechanic that will chase/search/or nothing if you are driving in the law.
What is it going to be about? In our assumption, the police start to be interested in us with every offense we have committed - of course, running over a traffic cone is not terrible, but if you pass a man... that's another story 😉 Police cars will patrol the place of the last offense, and if they notice the crazy taxi drivers (we mean YOU) - they will go to chase 🚔🚔🚔 How it will end - it's a surprise 😉
We also assure you that just having a taxi does not mean that you can go crazy with it! Crown Victoria will break down. Just like that, randomly if we don't care for them properly. At the moment we have dealt with the engine, but then we will think about an empty tank ⛽️ What solution do you think is better:
- we reduce the maximum speed to 5 km/h? - ordering a tow truck - remember that its cost is much higher than that of fuel? - we call buddy Joe, who pushes the car to the nearest station?
Or maybe you have any other idea? 😉
Finally, a nice #screenshot of Manhattan!
Remember that if you want to read about something specific on the next devlog - let us know in the comments, we promise that we will try to make it :>
